WORKING PARTY 25 March 2017

Next Working Party: Saturday 14 October

Thanks to all of those members who turned up and worked tirelessly around the Club for two hours last Saturday and on Saturday 11 March to get us ready for the start of the summer season.

There are always jobs to be done in and around the Club so if anyone has a spare hour or so please contact the office. Tuesday mornings are a good time and there are usually at least two members who come down around 10:00 for any clubhouse jobs.

Thanks to Rob and June Lineham for all their hard work organising both days with the necessary tools and equipment and also to David Edwards who has made several trips to the tip with all the garden waste from the dinghy park and car park.

Date for your diary - the next working party is Saturday 14 October 10-12pm!

Next Working Party: Saturday 25 March
Autumn Working Party: Saturday 14 October

A huge thank you to the fifty or so helpers who turned out on Saturday!  Such a turnout enabled an enormous amount of work to be done. Thanks to RC (Sailing) Robert Lineham and Roger Palmer for organising.

The next working party is on Saturday 25 March, when we are hoping for even more volunteers!  This is also a social event – two hours' work followed by a free pint and lunch – so please come and help to make our Club more prepared than ever for the season ahead.

This work needs to be carried out throughout the year and I would encourage all members to come along and help.  It is a great way to meet new people at the Club and help make a difference.
